Brought my car to VPS to have PPF (paint protective film) on my 911’s front bumper, hood, quarter panel and mirrors. Both Dennis and Pete were very responsive and professional. The best part, the PPF install looked great when I picked up the car the next day. Very happy and would recommend VPS for sure and will be back for sure!

1. What Type of Tint Do I Need? Carbon, Ceramic, Ceramic Plus?

If your primary concern is reducing the amount of heat that enters the vehicle, consider Ceramic or Ceramic Plus as both of these utilize nano-ceramic particles to reduce the TSER (Total Solar Energy Reflectance) substantially more than any other window film type. Moreso, the amount of heat rejected is not as heavily impacted by the shade or darkness selected.

Carbon tint is a step above dyed and metalized tints, being an economical option that provides fantastic aesthetic properties, increased privacy and security, 99% UV rejection and light heat rejection.

2. How do I take care of my tinted windows?

After a 48 cure period where you cannot roll the windows up or down, they can then be treated as normal. When cleaning the interior glass, be sure to use a window cleaner designed for tint that is free of ammonia.
